Hannah is completing a specialization in Mathematics and Computational Finance at Concordia University and is progressing toward actuarial certification. She previously completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and a DEC in Pure & Applied Science at Vanier College.
Throughout high school, Hannah volunteered in French and English homework-help programs. At Vanier College, she was selected to participate in a Peer Teaching course, where she gained hands-on experience teaching concepts to her peers and developing effective teaching methods.
Hannah is also a member of Concordia University's Mathematics, Actuarial and Statistics Association. Her academic achievements include receiving a scholarship for her high school grade average, as well as awards for achieving the highest grades in her cohort in French and History in Secondary 4.
Hannah believes that connecting with students is an important part of helping them learn and progress. She especially enjoys teaching mathematics through practice problems and concrete examples, allowing students to apply concepts themselves and gradually build confidence. Her favourite part of tutoring is seeing students succeed and develop their own appreciation for math.
