Isabella is currently completing her undergraduate studies at Concordia University, majoring in Public Affairs and Policy Studies. She has four years of experience tutoring and mentoring students from diverse age groups, including elementary, high school, and CEGEP students, across a wide range of subjects.
She also has a strong interest in academic research, particularly in policy, sociology, and understanding how different institutions and agencies impact society. Outside of academics, Isabella enjoys reading, hiking, painting, and travelling, which bring a creative mindset to her work with students.
Isabella's philosophy is not simply to give students answers, but to help them understand how and why concepts work so they can eventually apply them independently. She moves away from rigid, one-size-fits-all teaching methods and adapts each lesson to the student's individual learning style, whether they learn best visually, through discussion, or with hands-on practice.
What she enjoys most about tutoring is seeing a student's confidence grow and being there for those “aha!” moments when a difficult concept finally clicks. Her goal is to make students feel supported while giving them the tools to become more confident and independent learners.
