Kathleen completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at McGill University and is currently completing her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Her education has given her a strong understanding of child development, learning strategies, and how to adapt her approach to meet each student's unique needs.
In addition to her academic background, Kathleen has spent years working with children in a variety of settings. She has been a ski and snowboard instructor, multisport camp animator, camp counsellor, and tutor, experiences that have strengthened her ability to connect with students of all ages. She also has experience working with children with disabilities, allowing her to create engaging, supportive lessons that help every student learn in a way that works best for them.
Kathleen is known for her calm, encouraging personality and her ability to make students feel comfortable from the very first session. She believes that building confidence is just as important as improving grades, and she loves seeing students become more independent as they develop new skills and overcome challenges.
Outside of tutoring, Kathleen enjoys skiing, staying active, and spending time outdoors. As a former competitive gymnast and experienced ski and snowboard instructor, she has spent years coaching children and understands the value of patience, perseverance, and celebrating every achievement, qualities she brings into every tutoring session.
