Shaleen holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from Concordia University and is a certified teacher with a Quebec teaching brevet. Through classroom teaching internships, substitute teaching, and private tutoring, she has gained valuable experience supporting students across all elementary subjects while helping them strengthen both their academic skills and their self-confidence.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in recognizing that every student learns differently. She takes the time to understand each child's strengths, challenges, and learning style before creating lessons that are engaging, interactive, and personalized. Currently pursuing a Master's in Educational Psychology at McGill University, Shaleen continues to deepen her understanding of how children learn and develop, allowing her to provide thoughtful, evidence-based support that helps every student reach their full potential.
